CineDDR, as configured on an Intel PC or Mac, in combination with an AJA Xena or Kona card, offers the following set of features:
- Direct-to-disk recording into or playout from CineForm QuickTime or AVI files:

CineDDR-SL (Single-link): 10-bit 1080p or 720p YUV CineForm files
- CineDDR-DL (Dual-link): 12-bit 1080p RGB CineForm files. Also records/plays 10-bit YUV files.
- Timecode based recording and playout
- Video Source/Destination: HD-SDI, component, HDMI
- 9-pin Sony VTR emulation for master/slave control with external video components
- Frame-accurate editing support
- Synchronous recording
- Choice of 5 different CineForm quality levels for recording
- Support for AJA Xena (Windows) or Kona (Mac) cards for HD-SDI, component, or HDMI I/O
- Windows and Mac (pending) versions available (Intel Mac only)
Workflow Features
- Broad compatibility of CineForm files with DirectShow or QuickTime compatible applications on Windows or Mac
- Optional installation of CineForm Neo HD/4K software for file conversion, pre- or post-processing:
